REVEN GmbH and the SCHAKO Group have worked together to improve the DQA and ECOJET displacement diffusers. State-of-the-art tools, including CFD flow analysis, sound studios, an air duct with visible mist were used. The correct positioning of these fresh air outlets is very important to avoid disruptive air flows. The result is that fresh air is blown unnoticed into commercial kitchens and food production areas. Improving the quality of air in food production with the help of DQA and ECOJET displacement outlets. In the world of food production and commercial kitchens, the quality of the air supply plays a major role. To ensure that the ambient air is optimally regulated, companies such as REVEN GmbH have launched a development project that focuses on improving displacement diffusers. These diffusers, known as DQA and ECOJET, have the potential to significantly improve air quality in production facilities.
The development of REVEN GmbH and the SCHAKO CFD Competence Center
REVEN GmbH has teamed up with the SCHAKO Group’s CFD competence center to increase the performance and efficiency of its DQA and ECOJET displacement diffusers. This CFD competence center is located at SCHAKO IBERIA S.L.U. in San Mateo de Gállego near Zaragoza in Spain. Together they have started a project to optimize the technology behind these air outlets.

Modern tools and techniques
In order to improve the DQA and ECOJET displacement outlets, they used state-of-the-art tools and techniques. A central method was CFD flow analysis, which made it possible to examine and optimize the flow behaviour of these diffusers in detail. In addition, sound chambers were used to minimize noise generation, which is particularly important in commercial kitchens.

But that was not all. The research teams carried out realistic tests in flow channels using fog machines.
