Smart Kitchen Ventilation for Commercial Kitchens: REVEN Implements a Modern Ventilation Solution for Kinder-Küche & Catering Haan. When fresh meals for children are prepared every day, every technical detail must function reliably. That’s why a modern catering kitchen needs not only high-quality cooking equipment but also a powerful, safe, and smart kitchen ventilation system. For this very reason, Kinder-Küche & Catering Haan chose a solution from REVEN for its new kitchen ventilation project.

The new kitchen went into operation last week, and it impressively demonstrates how modern technology, well-thought-out design, and meticulous project management work together. The result is a smart ventilation system for commercial kitchens that not only excels in functionality but also sets new standards in aesthetics.

Smart Kitchen Ventilation for Commercial Kitchens with Advanced Technologies
REVEN equipped the kitchen ventilation system with several high-performance technologies to ensure that the system operates reliably, efficiently, and comfortably during daily kitchen operations. To achieve this, the project managers combined various systems, each of which performs an important function and, together, form a particularly effective overall solution.

Among other things, the following were used:
REVEN induction technology, because it improves the capture of cooking fumes and aids in their removal through condensation.
X-Cyclone technology, which ensures that aerosols and grease particles are separated particularly efficiently.
UV technology, because it helps reduce and eliminate odors when used downstream.
Smart, demand-controlled kitchen ventilation with zone control, so that the ventilation system can intelligently respond to actual needs in each area.
Real-time zone visualization, allowing kitchen staff to immediately see the status of the various exhaust zones.
The result is a kitchen ventilation system that is not only technically sophisticated but also actively supports day-to-day work in the kitchen.
Why Professional Kitchen Ventilation Is So Important, Especially in Kitchens Used by Children
Kinder-Küche & Catering Haan is known for fresh, child-friendly, high-quality meals. That’s why the kitchen’s equipment plays a particularly important role. After all, when cooking for children every day, hygiene, safety, reliability, and quality must work together seamlessly.
A professional kitchen ventilation system ensures that steam, grease particles, aerosols, and odors are captured right where they are generated. At the same time, it improves the indoor air quality, enhances working conditions for the kitchen staff, and contributes to a hygienic kitchen environment. Especially in a kitchen where work is carried out daily with a high level of responsibility, ventilation thus becomes a crucial component of the overall concept.
That’s why our goal for this project was very clear: only the best for our little ones. And it is precisely this commitment that is reflected in the technical features, craftsmanship, and design of the entire kitchen ventilation system.
Induction Technology for Kitchen Ventilation: Better Capture Through Targeted Airflow
The REVEN induction technology used captures cooking fumes directly at the source. This allows the kitchen ventilation system to extract the contaminated air more effectively, while at the same time improving separation through condensation.

This technology is particularly valuable because it makes kitchen operations more efficient and because it supports the ventilation system’s performance in everyday use. In addition, the targeted airflow helps maintain a consistently high level of air quality in the kitchen.
So the system doesn’t just run in the background; it actively plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of the commercial kitchen.
X-Cyclone separators set the standard for grease and aerosol separation
Another technical highlight is X-Cyclone technology. The X-Cyclone separators ensure highly efficient separation of grease particles and aerosols, while seamlessly integrating into the system’s sleek design.
Commercial and catering kitchens, in particular, are subject to a variety of operational stresses. That is why kitchen ventilation systems require robust and high-performance filtration technology. X-Cyclone technology meets these requirements by combining high filtration efficiency with modern design.

Visually, too, the separators blend seamlessly into the facility with a high-quality appearance. The visible natural stainless steel elements, the clean lines, and the precise craftsmanship underscore the professional standards of the entire project.
Kitchen ventilation with UV technology for odor reduction
The system was also equipped with a UV system for downstream odor reduction and elimination. With this addition, REVEN enhances kitchen ventilation with an important technical feature, as odors play a key role—especially during heavy kitchen use.
The UV technology operates downstream, allowing odors to be further reduced. At the same time, the project demonstrates how seriously REVEN takes the issue of safety. This is because UV lamps pose a potential hazard that should not be underestimated. That is why REVEN consistently safeguards its systems and integrates the technology in a way that balances functionality, safety, and practicality for everyday use.

The result is a solution that is technologically robust and was implemented responsibly.
Smart Kitchen Ventilation with Zone Control and Real-Time Visualization
One particularly modern feature of the project is the smart, demand-controlled kitchen ventilation system with zone control. The system can monitor and display different exhaust air zones. This allows kitchen staff to see in real time what conditions prevail in each area.
This zone visualization makes the technology easy to understand and operate. After all, modern kitchen ventilation should not only work intelligently, but also be transparent. When kitchen staff can immediately see the status of each zone, the system becomes more tangible and easier to understand in day-to-day use.

In this way, REVEN combines technical intelligence with practical usability. This is precisely where its significant added value for modern commercial kitchens lies.
Design that complements a modern commercial kitchen
Technology has to work, but it should also look good. At Kinder-Küche & Catering Haan, the new kitchen ventilation system clearly demonstrates that the two go hand in hand.
The system combines black powder-coated panels with high-quality natural stainless steel elements. In addition, modern LED lighting, clean lines, and precise finishes create a high-quality overall look. As a result, the kitchen ventilation system does not appear to be merely a technical component, but rather a deliberately designed element of the kitchen.

This aspect is becoming increasingly important, especially in modern commercial kitchens. After all, a high-quality kitchen should be functional, hygienic, and high-performing, while also projecting a professional image.
Teamwork makes the kitchen run smoothly
A project of this magnitude can only succeed if many details are just right. That’s why the team behind its implementation deserves special attention.
At REVEN, Holger Reul and Jonathan “Joni” Schäfer worked on, managed, and oversaw the project. Together, they ensured that planning, engineering, coordination, and implementation proceeded seamlessly. The result was a kitchen ventilation system that meets the project’s high standards.
True to the motto:
Kitchen Ventilation: Teamwork makes the kitchen dream come true.
This statement is particularly fitting for this project because it clearly demonstrates a combination of technical expertise, experience, and teamwork.
A kitchen ventilation system that sets the standard
The new kitchen ventilation system at Kinder-Küche & Catering Haan showcases what is possible in modern commercial kitchens today. It combines induction technology, X-Cyclone filtration, UV technology, smart zone control, and high-quality design in a single integrated system.

The result is a solution that supports daily operations, improves air quality, reduces odors, and provides kitchen staff with clear information. At the same time, the system impresses with its appearance, craftsmanship, and seamless integration into the space.
That’s a strong sign for a children’s kitchen. After all, when it comes to feeding children, quality, responsibility, and reliability are especially important. That’s exactly why this facility is such a good fit for Kinder-Küche & Catering Haan.
Conclusion: Smart Kitchen Ventilation for Commercial Kitchens with a Sense of Responsibility
With this project, REVEN has developed a smart kitchen ventilation system for commercial kitchens that showcases what modern ventilation technology can look like today. The system operates efficiently, safely, and intelligently, while also impressing with its high-quality design.
Kinder-Küche & Catering Haan has thus opted for a solution that meets its own standards: fresh, high-quality meals for children prepared in a professionally equipped kitchen.
And when it comes to our little ones:
Only the best.
