Dubious claims are a danger! We see it time and again in tenders for large projects: competitors brazenly claim to have “technically equivalent products” at half the price. But if you take a closer look, you will immediately see that this is nothing more than window dressing. No test bench, no CFD analysis, no patents, no scientific documentation. Just empty words, supported by flimsy papers or management letters. Such an approach is not serious. It is dangerous. And it is disrespectful to customers who depend on quality and safety.

What these providers do is simple: they claim. Nothing more. No research, no development, no investment in measurement technology. Instead of facts, there are only colorful brochures with no technical substance. Instead of test reports, just assertions. The problem: many customers fall for this scam because the price sounds tempting. But the truth is: anyone who uses such products is risking the safety of people, machines and the environment.

In my Technology Management course, I was taught the following:

Why am I writing this down here? Quite simply because it’s really getting out of hand how dubious and unsubstantiated market competitors are in this area. Inflationary how many also have new technologies! Inflationary how many seem to have similar and equivalent technologies! This begs the question:

Why am I asking this? You wouldn’t believe how many competitors in the market, such as Holger Reul, Alexander Rojahn, Sascha Kess, Vitali Lai and our planning partners, will soon be telling our sales team on a weekly basis that they can offer technologically and technically equivalent products at half the price. Without any proof, without any research & development, without any measurement technology, just very large, overblown bullshit bubbles, any questionable confirmations and little long-term observation…!!!!
P.S. Dear market companions of ventilation technology: A thermal image is not a CFD and has nothing to do with numerical flow analysis… Just to give you a small example of the nonsense that is spread every day!
