CFD webinar: Comic images in the visualization of air flows?

CFD webinar: “Colorful pictures in the representation of air flows?”

Date: Friday, September 13
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Duration: 1 hour
Location: Online livestream

Description of the CFD webinar:

In ventilation technology, we often encounter representations of air flows that are based on colorful pictures with numerous arrows. But how realistic are these illustrations really? They are often idealized and fictitious models that are based neither on numerical flow simulations nor on actual measured values. Such representations can lead to false assumptions being made that significantly distort the actual conditions in commercial kitchens.

In our one-hour webinar “Colourful pictures in the representation of air flows?”, we take a critical look at this topic and show how modern CFD flow analyses can help to visualize real air flows and develop effective ventilation systems. In particular, we will look at the discrepancy between idealized representations in guidelines such as VDI 2052 and DIN EN 16282 and the actual conditions in kitchens.

Find out in our CFD webinar why it is so important not to rely blindly on colorful arrow diagrams and what insights we can gain from CFD simulations and metrological investigations. Our speaker will guide you through the various aspects and give you valuable insights into the reality of ventilation planning and optimization.

After the presentation, you will have the opportunity to put your individual questions directly to our moderator Andreas Graf-Matzner and the speaker.

Take this opportunity to deepen your knowledge and register now for our livestream webinar! Join us as we debunk the myths of ventilation technology and show you how you can achieve better results with sound analysis.

We look forward to welcoming you on September 13!
