They ensure that the black dust produced during the processing of gray cast iron is removed safely and cleanly &#8211; without any conventional filters. Quite simply <\/h2>\n\n<p>Cast iron dust is particularly stubborn. Conventional air cleaners with filters clog up quickly and often require maintenance or expensive replacement. Maintenance was only necessary in isolated cases. All other systems have been showing &#8220;green&#8221; on the intelligent LED display on the devices for a year. This reliability has convinced us &#8211; and opened the door for the next step.   <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-nachste-herausforderung-gf-liechti-turbomill-mit-schwerzerspanung\"><br\/>Next challenge &#8211; GF Liechti Turbomill with heavy-duty machining<\/h2>\n\n<p>The next station was a GF Liechti Turbomill 1400 &#8211; a machine with particularly high requirements. We initially used our compact C-6 XSC unit, but quickly realized that this was not quite enough. After retrofitting our PIPE system for condensate separation, the extraction system ran perfectly. Another success &#8211; to MAN&#8217;s satisfaction.
